AREA FISHING REPORT
|
January 2, 2007
Local fishermen
have been reporting a slight slow down in the frequency of winter Spring
Salmon hits over the last week, possibly due to ebbing tides in the morning.
Wednesday Dec 27th, I was fishing with Luke and Lauren from 10:45am to
3pm, from the Harbour mouth to the Trailer Park. We were trolling green
and white hootchies and green, white and yellow hootchies at 120 to 135ft
in 140ft of water. We played 4 or 5 fish releasing one small fish, and
landing a nice 9lb'er off the Harbour mouth in 128ft of water. We watched
five other boats in the area picking up Springs as well. Good day fishing.
Tight Lines,
Ron Neitsch
